Sharjah: Government-run nurseries in Sharjah will officially adopt Arabic as the primary language of instruction, in line with directives from His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
The announcement was made on Sunday during a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Sharjah Education Academy, chaired by Sheikh Sultan at the Academy’s headquarters in the University City of Sharjah. This initiative seeks to reinforce and preserve the Arabic language as a core element of education and cultural heritage in the emirate.
