An update to the fees has been announced by the authority for issuing a six-month entry permit to obtain UAE golden visa

The rates for a six-month entry permit given to expedite the process of getting a 10-year UAE golden visa have been updated, according to the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security.

The new fee has been set at Dh1,250 as per reports and consists of a number of costs, including Dh1,000 for issuance, Dh100 for the application, Dh100 for smart services, Dh28 for e-services, and Dh22 for Federal Authority fees.

Talents, scientists and specialists, investors in public investments, real estate investors, businesspeople, top high school achievers, graduates of accredited universities in the UAE, graduates of accredited universities outside the country, and first-line defenders are among the categories eligible for the golden visa.

Customers who apply for an entry permit for the golden visa procedures are asked to submit a number of documents, including the passport of the sponsored individual, a coloured personal photo, and evidence of golden visa eligibility, according to the authority.
