American rapper Macklemore is set to take to the stage at the Coca-Cola Arena on October 28

The Coca-Cola Arena is about to host a performance by Macklemore on October 28, known for songs including Thrift Shop, Can't Hold Us, and Glorious. Tickets can be purchased on the arena website, for Dhs199 and are currently available.

Ben Hammond Haggerty, as Macklemore, started his musical career as an independent musician in 2000. He rose to fame when he teamed up with producer Ryan Lewis; the two of them produced the The VS. EP in 2010 and the album The Heist in 2012. Thrift Shop, the album's lead song, had over six million downloads and tens of millions of YouTube views as it rose to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 list.

Can't Hold Us, another of their well-known hits, made them the only musical duet in history to have both of their debut songs reach the top of the pop charts. Four Grammy Awards for Best New Artist, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song, and Best Rap Album were won by them in 2014. They were also nominated for Album of the Year for The Heist, Song of the Year for Same Love, and Best Music Video for Can't Hold Us.
