
During the Eid Al Fitr holiday, all public parking in Dubai will be free, with the exception of multi-level parking structures. According to a Friday announcement from the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), the free parking time would run from Shawwal 1 to Shawwal 3, with paid parking rates starting on Shawwal 4.
The hours of operation for Dubai Metro will be extended during Eid. The Red and Green Line stations will be open from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturday, March 29; from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Sunday, March 30; and from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Monday through Wednesday, March 31 to April 2.
Dubai Tram will operate from Saturday to Monday, March 29 to 31, from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. (the following day). Tram services will begin Sunday, March 30 at 9 a.m. and run until 1 a.m. the following day.
Additionally, from Friday, Ramadan 28 in the afternoon till Shawwal 3, the RTA announced that bus route E100 from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station would not operate. Travelers are encouraged to take Route E101 from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Abu Dhabi during this time. Also, from Ramadan 28 till Shawwal 3, Route E102 will not be functioning.
