Al Shindagha Museum, Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood, and Etihad Museum are rated as top tourist destinations in Dubai

This week's top tourist destinations in Dubai include three historical sites that provided tourists an opportunity to learn about Emirati culture.

Three winners—the Etihad Museum, the Al Shindagha Museum, and the Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood—were recognised by TripAdvisor.

The city's historical sites are all well-reviewed by tourists, who highlight the distinctive cultural experiences they provide for both locals and visitors

The largest heritage museum in the United Arab Emirates, Al Shindagha Museum, opened its doors in March 2023. Inside, 22 pavilions spanning 80 antique homes depict a glimpse into Dubai's past. The website was commended for its collections of ancient archival images illustrating Dubai's history and development throughout time, with visitors calling it "Dubai's hidden gem."

You may register the kids in Al Shindagha's summer camp this year, and if you're thinking about visiting, keep in mind that admission is free if you arrive by Abra.

Visitors may experience Dubai as it was in the mid-19th century until the 1970s by visiting the Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood, which has been recognised as one of the city's cultural tourist hotspots.

The Etihad Museum has been recognised as one of Dubai's cultural landmarks and historical places. Also, it received a Travellers' Choice award for its coverage of the 1968–1974 UAE union.
