Al Safia Park in Ajman hosted UAE's longest iftar spread serving 15,000 meals to Ajman residents and their families

The UAE's longest iftar spread may have taken place on Thursday night in Al Safia Park in Ajman, which was transformed into a vast and lively dining paradise. After providing 15,000 meals to Ajman residents and their families, the park came to represent harmony and cohesion. The Emirates Red Crescent Society hosted this magnificent event with the goal of fostering a strong sense of inclusivity and community.

By 4:00 pm, volunteers from the society had meticulously unfolded thin plastic sheets across the park, covering an amazing 500 meters from end to end. When all four sheets were spread out, the total length was an impressive two kilometers, which meant there was more than enough room for everyone who was participating in the community iftar.

Visitors were cordially received, and school buses transported a large number of devout individuals from labor camps to partake in the customary meal during the fasting month of Ramadan. Together, families, employees, and other visitors gathered in the park, excitedly awaiting the time to break their fast. The iftar meals, which were kindly supplied and delivered in several vehicles, were carefully arranged on the plastic sheets and prepared for sharing by all the guests. The meal boxes included a variety of products, such as water, salad, dates, fruits, and a filling rice meal, so everyone could enjoy a healthy and filling supper.
