Ajman Transport Authority launched the pilot phase of its 'cabby' application for taxi drivers

The 'cabby' application for taxi drivers has entered its pilot phase, according to the Ajman Transport Authority. The objective of this program is to improve the productivity of drivers employed by franchise companies in the emirate by offering them time and effort-saving tools that simplify their work. 

The executive director of the Authority's Support Services Corporation, Rasha Khalaf Al Shamsi, emphasized that the "Cabby application" is the main platform used by Ajman taxi drivers. Advanced features include the ability to track trip revenues, receivables, performance indicators, and driver information that is crucial.

She highlighted that all smartphone operating systems are compatible with the program, and it interfaces with other systems to enable seamless digital data transfer. Furthermore, according to Al Shamsi, visiting the authority now just takes a few seconds via the drivers' smartphones thanks to the "Cabby" application, which has drastically shortened the time needed to receive information.
