Air taxi inspired by Nasa's Mars helicopter Ingenuity' will soon transport passengers and cargo in Dubai

NewsDubai may soon see the use of an air taxi that is modelled after NASA's "Ingenuity" helicopter, which is now in operation on the planet Mars, to carry both people and goods. This is with the help of an Austrian company already working with the UAE government.
Due to concerns from governments worldwide regarding traffic collapses in megacities that might cause enormous economic losses, FlyNow aircraft will be operational and commercial in 28 months. According to the developers, its layout and infrastructure footprint are the most efficient that have ever been developed in this particular location.
The eVTOL can assist people in travelling in luxury and style. It has a cruise speed of 130 kmph and sounds like a dishwasher. This eVTOL's extremely efficient rotor design allows it to fly in atmospheres that are far less dense than Earth's, producing enough lift and control and making it perfect for operations in conditions like high elevations.
It appears that the Austrian company, hoping to gain more traction in the area, has already established the standard in all crucial areas, including operability, affordability, certification readiness, and efficiency. It is clarified that these air taxis will fly automatically in a predetermined direction, landing and taking off from a designated hub. The weather conditions will be analysed by the air traffic management or a partner organisation to create a flight plan, which will then be communicated to air traffic control.
