Air India Express increased free check-in baggage to 30kg for passengers

On Tuesday, Air India Express announced that its free check-in baggage limit for travelers traveling between the United Arab Emirates, the Middle East, and other locations has been raised to 30 kg.

The airline, which flies to several UAE emirates, also provides 7 kilograms of cabin luggage.

The airline also provides a free cabin baggage allowance of up to two pieces of luggage with a combined weight of no more than 7 kg, in addition to the free check-in baggage allowance. According to the statement, visitors are also permitted to bring one laptop bag, handbag, backpack, or any other tiny bag that can fit beneath the front seat.

A free extra 10 kg check-in luggage allowance is available to families traveling with infants, making the total permitted 47 kg, which also includes a 7 kg cabin baggage allowance.

With millions of citizens and tourists traveling between the UAE and India each year, the aviation corridor between the two nations is among the busiest in the world.

Travelers who want to fly without luggage can choose Xpress Lite, which has cheaper rates than standard flights and allows for up to 3 kg of cabin baggage. The airline stated that passengers who need to check in baggage later can pre-book extra baggage allowances at deeply reduced prices for 15 kg on domestic flights and 20 kg on foreign flights.

Xpress Biz passengers, who are seated in Business Class, are allowed to bring 40 kg of luggage on foreign flights.
