Later this year, Air France will begin daily direct flights between Paris and Abu Dhabi, boosting bilateral trade and tourism between the two nations. The French flag carrier will operate an Airbus A350-900 between the two capital cities beginning October 29. The plane will feature 324 seats, 34 in business, 24 in premium economy, and 266 in economy.
AF638 will depart Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 9.15 p.m. and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 6.45 a.m. the following day. Meanwhile, AF639 will take off from Abu Dhabi at 8.45 a.m. and land in Paris at 1.15 p.m.
Bilateral relations between the UAE and France have been strengthening in a variety of areas. The UAE is one of France's most important regional commercial partners. Separately, Air France said that it will operate up to 49 weekly flights to Dubai and other Middle Eastern cities such as Beirut, Cairo, and Tel Aviv during the winter season.
