Adventure activities on the UAEs Jebel Jais to remain open throughout the summer season

It was confirmed on Wednesday that adventure activities on the UAE's highest mountain, Jebel Jais, will stay open throughout the summer season. RAK Leisure (RAKL) announced that the Jais Adventure Parks would continue to provide zip line, sky tour and toboggan rides throughout the summer.

To commemorate the occasion, RAK Leisure has created a 'limited-time promotion' in which tourists can save 20% on the world's longest zip line, Jais Flight, and 10% on the region's longest beanie ride, Jais Sledder.

From July through September 15, Jais Flight and Sky Tour will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday, "so people can continue to enjoy the attractions in the mountains where the temperatures are cooler." At speeds of up to 160kmph, thrill seekers may soar above craggy mountain peaks and plunge through deep ravines on the world's longest zip line. The Sky Tour takes visitors on a difficult tour of six zip lines ranging in length from 337 meters over 1km. Jais Sledder will be open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 1 pm to 7 pm throughout the week and 11 am to 7 pm on weekends. During the eight-minute ride, riders may achieve speeds of up to 40kmph as they race down the Hajar mountain range.
