Abu Dhabi transport department launched easy payment service allowing customers to pay for fines in installments
09 Jan 2024
NewsCustomers may now pay penalties in installments using the "easy payment" option offered by the Abu Dhabi Transport Department. The Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT)'s Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) said on Monday that credit card users of Emirates Islamic Bank, First Abu Dhabi Bank, and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank are eligible to use this service. More banks will be added by ITC by the first half of 2024.
Customers using this service can pay their ITC fines in many payments, with a minimum total amount of Dh3,000. The Customer Happiness Centres in the administrative offices of the cities of Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, as well as the TAMM service centres, are the channels by which customers may access this service. In order to pay off their accrued penalties, drivers can arrange installment payments over a variety of predetermined time periods, including three, six, nine, or twelve months, without incurring interest or profits.
By using a credit card at one of the aforementioned locations, customers can take use of this service to pay penalties. The resident must then get in touch with the bank that provided the credit card to ask that the balance be paid back over the preferred time period in installments.
According to the ITC, the service confirms its desire to streamline payment procedures and offer practical payment options, guaranteeing higher customer satisfaction and bolstering Abu Dhabi's standing as one of the best places in the world to live and invest.
