Abu Dhabi to build a new hub to unify all real estate services and streamline property-related procedures

It was announced on Wednesday that Abu Dhabi would soon be constructing a new hub that will expedite property-related procedures and consolidate all real estate services. The new organization's proposal has been accepted by Abu Dhabi's Crown Prince and Chairman of the Executive Council, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) of the emirate will oversee the new organisation.

It is anticipated that the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre would improve the effectiveness of real estate supervision and regulation, guaranteeing a favourable investment climate in the emirate. By increasing non-oil GDP, it also seeks to strengthen the real estate industry's role in promoting economic growth.

The Abu Dhabi Government Media Office stated, "All roles and responsibilities related to real estate affairs will now be transferred to the unified entity."

The center's objectives also included a list of other duties:

- Create strategic plans to control and accelerate the real estate industry's growth.

- Oversee, track, and evaluate the progress of real estate development initiatives.

- Oversee government tenders for real estate development projects to start new real estate initiatives.

- Among other directives, encourage the promotion of real estate investment to guarantee the real estate sector's role in propelling the emirate's growth.

The real estate centre proposal was approved concurrently with the adoption of a new child protection policy for the emirate by Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed, who chaired the Abu Dhabi Executive Council meeting.

The Crown Prince of the emirate also went over the most recent reports on government programmes, strategies, and initiatives.
