Abu Dhabis new symbol of tolerance and coexistence - Abrahamic Family House open to the public from March 1

NewsFeaturing a mosque, church and synagogue in the same facility, Abu Dhabi’s new symbol of tolerance and coexistence is open to the public from March 1. The venue is all set for its launch on Saadiyat Island. The Abrahamic Family House will be a place for learning, dialogue and worship.
It will epitomise the shared values and peaceful coexistence among Muslims, Christians and Jews.
There is no entry fee, the religious site is completely free and Visitors of all backgrounds and beliefs can visit Abrahamic Family House. Worshippers do not need to book tickets, but should enter through the entrance for their place of worship. Vistors can also attend the service of a faith outside of theirs, as a guest.
Tours of Abrahamic Family House are available between 10am and 5pm from Tuesday to Saturday. They take around an hour and can be booked in English or Arabic. The tour can be booked on abrahamicfamilyhouse.ae now.
The Abrahamic Family House facilities are open daily for worshippers. Imam Al-Tayeb Mosque is open as per Awqaf prayer timings in Abu Dhabi, while both His Holiness Francis Church and Moses Ben Maimon Synagogue are open between 7am and 9pm.
All visitors should wear clothing that covers the area of the body between the neck, the elbows, and the ankles. You should also avoid wearing too-tight clothing.
Women are required to cover their heads to enter both the mosque and the synagogue. If not carrying a scarf, you can borrow one at the Welcome Centre Reception Desk.

Visitors can get to the Abrahamic Family House by public bus route 94, which drops visitors at Gate B.

From Abu Dhabi City: From the Corniche head towards Mina Port and then follow signs to the Cultural District on Saadiyat Island.
From Dubai on E11 or Yas Island: Take the Saadiyat Island/Yas Island exit on to Sheikh Khalifa Highway E12 and drive along Yas Highway to the Cultural District on Saadiyat Island.
Visitors are allowed to practise their faith at any of the three houses of worship. This can do this by attending a service, prayer meeting or community gathering.
Worshippers are not required to book tickets – but are asked to enter the venue via specific entrances as a courtesy.
