Abu Dhabi's government announced a one-week holiday for its public sector employees

The government of Abu Dhabi declared a weeklong break for workers in the public sector. Government workers can participate in the celebrations from Monday, April 8, through Sunday, April 14. On Monday, April 15, regular business hours would then start again. 

This follows the statement made on Sunday by the UAE government that public sector workers will have a one-week holiday. Regardless of whether the moon is visible, the holiday will formally start on April 8.
