Abu Dhabi launched a revolutionary initiative to make smart and autonomous mobility across air, land, and sea

Abu Dhabi unveiled a revolutionary plan on Friday to enable intelligent and self-driving travel by air, land, and water. The Smart and Autonomous Vehicle Industries (Savi) cluster made its much-awaited announcement in front of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This comes after Abu Dhabi's Crown Prince and Chairman of the Executive Council, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, supported a plan on Wednesday to create the world's first Savi cluster in Abu Dhabi.

The development of intelligent and self-driving cars for the air, sea, and land will be facilitated by this unique and inventive multi-modal cluster. Around 50,000 employments would be created and up to Dh120 billion will be contributed, a senior official stated at the Masdar City inaugural event.

The development of Savi, which covers the design, testing, and production of applications for mobility and transportation as well as to support other industries like logistics, is being led by ADDED and the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO). Savi, based in Masdar City, will expand on the robust industrial foundation of Abu Dhabi and take use of its unmatched access to well-established air corridors, well-developed road networks, and an extensive worldwide partner network.

All pertinent parties are brought together by the cluster in order to promote the value chain's development, draw businesses from around the globe, enable access to capital and investments, encourage and fund innovation, simplify regulatory services, and hasten the uptake of upcoming urban and mobility services.
