Abu Dhabi has announced free parking and toll for the New Year's holiday, in the emirate. The Integrated Transport Centre announced free parking and the opening of the Darb toll gate on Monday, January 1, 2024. Starting on Tuesday, January 2, fees at the toll gates will be collected again.
On Tuesday, January 2, surface parking (mawaqif) is free until 7:59 a.m. During the holiday, parking in the Mussafah M-18 truck parking lot will also be free. It has been recommended that residents refrain from parking in restricted locations, do not hinder traffic flow, and avoid parking in residential neighbourhoods between 9 p.m. and 8 a.m.
The bus timetable for weekends and public holidays will remain unchanged.
