Abu Dhabi announces free parking and toll gate fee suspension for New Years Day 2025

Abu Dhabi has announced that surface parking fees will be waived on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, with fees resuming at 8 am on Thursday, January 2, 2025. Similarly, parking charges at the Musaffah M-18 truck parking lot will also be suspended during the New Year holiday period.

In addition, authorities confirmed that the Darb toll gate system will not charge fees on Wednesday, the public holiday. Toll charges will be reinstated on Thursday, January 2, 2025, during the usual peak hours of 7 am to 9 am and 5 pm to 7 pm.

Abu Dhabi Mobility urged drivers to adhere to traffic rules by avoiding prohibited parking areas and behaviors that may disrupt traffic flow. Motorists are reminded to park only in designated areas and to avoid using residential parking spaces between 9 pm and 8 am.
