A total of 194 both male and female trainees benefited from the One-Day Test' Initiative across the Sharjah within the span of two weeks

The Licencing and Drivers Affairs Department of Sharjah Police General Command announced that in just two weeks, 194 male and female trainees benefitted from the emirate's One-Day Test Initiative. The one-day test project targets national service recruits and high school graduates by merging the theoretical and practical driving exams (preliminary and city tests) on the same day.

The project offers a two-stage approach that is smooth. The first stage, which is completed online through the Ministry of Interior (MOI) application, is creating a new driving licence file and attending theoretical classes. After passing the computerised theoretical test, the procedure advances to the second level, in which students participate in practical training sessions led by qualified instructors. Following completion of the training criteria indicated by the driving schools' timetable, the day for the final exam - which includes both "provisional" and "city" licences - is set, and trainees can finish their tests on the same day, saving them from multiple-day attendance.

Colonel Khaled Mohammed Al-Kay, Director of the Vehicles and Drivers Licencing Department, advised potential candidates to take advantage of the initiative's remaining length, which is planned to run through the end of September. He advised anybody with questions to call the department's helpdesk at (901).
