A one-off desert experience by Platinum Heritage to those who book a safari on December 31

Platinum Heritage is offering a unique experience in the desert for those who reserve a safari on Sunday, December 31. Heritage safari, heritage safari with overnight stay, or heritage safari with overnight stay and hot air balloon ride are the three options available.

Adults must pay Dhs895 and for children, it will cost Dhs795. A conservation guide will be driving visitors to the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve after picking them up from Dubai and will be providing information regarding the native flora and fauna.

Visitors can alternatively choose a 45-minute camel ride to explore the desert when they arrive at the reserve.  After that, they will be treated to a falconry performance and given some small snacks like falafel and spring rolls.

Visitors will then be escorted to an actual Bedouin tent, where they will be greeted with mocktails, oysters, and a feast of prawns.

Then it's time for an audio-visual drone show telling the tales of constellations and how people have been utilising the sky for navigation, along with live performances by Emirati artists. An astronomer is also available to discuss the influential stars with the visitor.

With dishes like aromatic tagine and classic lamb ouzi, as well as sweets like Umm Ali, Luqaimat, and fresh fruit, dinner is sure to be a joyous experience for the visitor.
