The Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has announced a new project named "Erth Dubai" that aims to preserve and share the emirate's rich history.
A video posted on his official Instagram account was used to make the announcement, in which Sheikh Hamdan asks viewers to consider Dubai's incredible journey.
The late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum was featured in the film, which also showcased old city images and explained how quickly Dubai has changed over the years.
Both locals and supporters are urged to participate in the endeavor to chronicle and commemorate the emirate's history.
The "Erth Dubai" project is a component of Sheikh Hamdan's larger initiatives to include the public in conserving the historical and cultural threads that have molded Dubai into the contemporary city it is today.
It is anticipated that the project will provide a chance for locals to engage with the city's history and participate in the narrative.
