Over the weekend after Thanksgiving, Black Friday sales have historically taken place in the US. This year it was on November 23. In an otherwise slow season, retailers said that hosting deals increased their sales. Long lineups, amazing bargains, and even dubious conduct from customers squabbling over offers have all come to be associated with Black Friday sales over time. These deals have recently made their way to the area, with several merchants creating various promotions to cater to the local consumer base.
