115th open auction of premium vehicle number plates; plate number AA16 fetched a whopping sum of Dh7.32 million

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has revealed that plate number AA16 brought in an incredible Dh7.32 million at the 115th open auction of luxury car number plates in Dubai. 

Ninety number plates were auctioned off for a total of Dh65.588 million, up 28% over the previous auction's Dh51.216 million, according to a statement from the RTA.

Plate AA69 brought in Dh6 million at the Hilton Dubai Al Habtoor City auction, while plate AA999 brought in Dh4.05 million.
