10th International Day of Yoga organised by Indian Consulate; registrations are now open

The Indian Consulate is now accepts registrations for its 10th International Day of Yoga. About 4,000 people are expected to visit the Indian mission in Dubai on Saturday, June 22 from 5 to 7 p.m. for a refreshing session at the famous World Trade Centre.

At a curtain-raiser ceremony conducted at the Consulate on Wednesday, Consul General Satish Sivan unveiled the International Day of Yoga website and registration page. Participants can register or access the website by scanning the QR code. 

The ambassador invited community members and emphasised that this celebration is a time to concentrate on holistic health while illuminating how the ancient Yoga system is an irreplaceable gift from India to the globe. 

About a thousand people of various nationalities who live in the northern Emirates will also be participating in the Consulate's celebration of the IDY this year.
