Dubai Festival City will be the site of the female sporting event, n Sunday, November 5 and those interested in competing may sign up today. This year's race, which is returning for its tenth edition, will feature a sustainability theme, and the main stage and Dubai Women's Run Village will be powered by solar and human-generated energy. Using eco-solvent ink and recycled paper, the race-day kit's components, such as t-shirts, bags, and route maps, are recyclable.
The 3km, 5km, and 10km races are available to participants, and the first three finishers in the 5km and 10km divisions will receive cash awards. The top award for 10km runners will be Dhs 5,000, followed by Dhs 3,000 for second, and Dhs 2,000 for third. The first-place finisher in the 5 km race will receive Dhs3,000, second place will receive Dhs2,000, and third place will receive Dhs1,000.
Junior runs are also available for those who are younger than 18.
A well-attended event that Plan b Group, the UAE Athletic Federation, and the Dubai Sports Council jointly organised. The event will also promote the health and happiness of women.
Friends of Cancer Patients [FoCP] will also be on-site, on the day of the event, delivering free tests and professional guidance at the Pink Caravan Medical Mobile Clinic.
