10,000 children from low-income families will be provided with school kits ahead of 2024/25 academic year

In a new cooperation with Dubai Cares, Aldar Properties has announced that it is donating Dh1 million. Through this agreement, school kits will be given to 10,000 low-income children in the UAE prior to the 2024–2025 academic year.

Through this partnership, 100 Aldar workers and other volunteers will be mobilised to put together necessary school kits, which will be given to these youngsters prior to the commencement of the upcoming academic year. The volunteer activity is scheduled on August 23, 2024.

The collaboration will introduce Dubai Cares' "Back to School" version of "Volunteer Emirates" to Abu Dhabi for the first time, in keeping with Aldar's mission to provide social value. The programme, which was started in 2009 and is a mainstay of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives' Dubai Cares, has been well-received in the United Arab Emirates.
